Anxiety is the feeling of fear or panic. Most people feel anxious, panicky or fearful about certain situations. Sometimes, anxiety enables us to cope with difficult situations and protects us by preventing us doing things which would put us at risk.

Sometimes, anxiety can be caused by certain upcoming events, such as an interview, an exam, a presentation or a driving test. Other times it may be caused by a past trauma or parental conditioning.
